The Quick & Easy Overview Of CBD & How It Works

What is CBD?

CBD is short for cannabidiol.  It is a chemical compound from the hemp plant. It's naturally occurring  & used in products like oils and edibles. Unlike its cousin THC (the ingredient in marijuana that gets you high), CBD is not psychoactive.  Yes..this means that CBD will not get you high.

What are cannabinoids?

We actually produce cannabinoids inside of our bodies and have a system of them working together called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).  In easy terms, think of cannabinoids as little soldiers in your body fighting to keep everything balanced.

Where does CBD come into play?

Unfortunately, like everything else in the body, the ECS wears out as we age and has trouble maintaining balance. Injury and disease also affect this.

So how do we replenish our little cannabinoid soldiers?

From the cannabis/hemp plant where cannabinoid soldiers are grown from the soil!  CBD is the most prevalent phyto-cannabinoids (phyto meaning plant)

How does CBD work exactly?

These plant-based cannabinoids naturally stimulate your ECS by giving it reinforcements! Once you use CBD and your army of cannabinoids is fresh, the body re-balances

What are the benefits of CBD?

CBD oil has been reported to help with:

  • Reducing anxiety, stress, and depression
  • Relief from chronic pain & inflammation
  • Calming Epilispey
  • Aiding in the treatment of heart ailments
  • Treating skin conditions
  • Treating acne
  • Fighting addicting
  • Fighting certain types of cancer

How does CBD make you feel?

CBD is less about what you do feel and more about what you don't feel. You want to feel a reduction of some sort of what is ailing you. Maybe it's the absence of anxiety, insomnia, pain, or restlessness.  You may have a more calm and relaxed demeanor.

In my personal experience..it eliminates whatever is plaguing me and allow my brain and body to return to its happy, healthy place.
